Finleys Birthday Party...May 22, 2010

Finley had her 1st Birthday party at The PlayZone in HartsVegas. She had a great time and just loved her cake. It was so good to be at home with our family and friends and we are so thankful for the ones that got to come and join us in celebrating such a wonderful event.

Gracie was just dying for Finley to read her card and open her present. And so many others came..thanks to everyone.

Finley and bedtime

Finley has always fought sleep and I can't imagine her not doing it. I know everyone says that you should lay them in the bed and walk away, but I cannot do that. I tried it once or twice and I couldn't stand it. So, I rock her and give her a bottle and sometimes she gets up and walks around and does the things below or anything but sleep. She has gotten better lately and honestly, one day, when she goes down to bed and doesn't need me or daddy at all, I will be a little sad.

Finleys 1st Birthday..May 5th...2010

Finley's 1st Birthday started off as usual. She went to daycare, but her mommy sent cupcakes so they had a little party there and after school and work, we went to our favorite Mexican resturant, Anitas!! She loves the cheese quesadilla and beans. My friend Jennifer and her husband, Shannon, and their 2 little boys, Andrew and Landon came to join in the celebration! We had so much fun!

Mommy had a hard time letting Finley just "go" on the cupcake. I have loosened up since then.

Trying to get pictures for 1st birthday invites

Finley was not cooperative when we were trying so very hard to get one really good picture to put on her birthday invites. She is never actually cooperative with taking pictures..ha!







This is one of her favorite places to be. If she ever climbs up there or in there and I can get her out and close the door, she freaks out!
