Spring Fever

This past Sunday, Finley and I went outside to soak up some sunshine. We are so excited that Spring is finally here...yeaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sitting on her knees like a big girl.

Sampson just wanted to sit beside Finley while she was on the blanket.

She really liked it outside but after several attempts of trying to get her to look at the camera, I realized it was too bright outside for her. She probably needed some sunscreen and some sunglasses! But really, we were not out there for that long.

Showing mommy her teeth..my favorite.

We threw Chloe the ball until she almost passed out..Finley would giggle every time Chloe ran for it.

Finley and her Winkie Woo Bear that Daddy made for her at Build-A-Bear.

Finleys Curls

Finley's hair is finally growing and she is growing some curls in the back now. I love them so much..I think they are just precious. Who knows if her little hair will continue to curl all over or be wavy or straight. I can't wait to find out!!

A visit home and Baby Dedication..March 14, 2010

Granny and Papa Burr came over and Finley enjoyed playing with them.

Papa gave Finley an old wooden toy that her mommy (me) played with when she was little. Papa has saved it for over 30 years.

When we walked Papa and Granny outside to say goodbye, there was Finley's first rainbow. It was only there for a few minutes but she was so excited (really had no idea) to see it!

Finley and her Nana.

We stayed with Nana and Pop that weekend and Pop went and got Finley some doughnuts the morning of the dedication before church...my how she is spoiled when we go home.

Trying to get ready so we could be there on time!

Finley has a mind of her own these day. Strong willed is an understatement when it comes to her. And never mind that I look like I am preggo in this picture. I got to watch those high-waisted dresses!!

Waiting with all the other babies, mommys and daddys so we could walk down the aisle..the same aisle mommy walked down when she married daddy.

Afterwards, we went to Pam's to eat...yummy. As you can tell, it was a cool and windy day.

Unfortunatley, we did not get any pictures of all of us in the church, so I got my sister to take these.

Gracie and Connor just had to get in a picture, too. I wish we could have gotten a picture of everyone that came, but it was just so crazy.

Waiting in line with the after church crowd.

YaYa and Finley.

Finley gets so distracted while she is in public, so much so, that she barely eats anything. Mommy and YaYa tried so hard to feed her, but she wasn't that into it. She would much rather socialize.

Chatting with Gracie and Aunt Kaye.

Telling everybody bye-bye and thanks for coming.

Another funny Finley face.

Giving Daddy some love.

Right time I buckled her in the carseat, she was out. A long day for such a tiny girl.

But when we got back to YaYa and Pop Pop's, she was ready to go..after her long nap of about 30 minutes.

I love her new smile with her little toothies.

Looks like her Daddy in this picture.

Such a happy girl.

Daddy's blue eyes.

She loves to "talk" on mommy's blackberry.

Showing mommy her teeth!

She had a little snack while mommy was snapping her pictures since she was so distracted while we were eating at Pam's.

So sleepy..but fighting it so very hard.

Aunt Brenda gave Finley a nice present for her special day and she had the most fun pulling it all out of the bag.

She has facial expressions like her mommy!!

Finley started pointing her finger during this weekend visit. It is so cute.

Finley was checking out her new books. This book plays the tune of "Jesus Loves Me" as you read it. Finley really likes it.

And here, I am not sure if she is pointing or giving the "number 1".

Our sweet little happy Finley!!
